The idea www.blockmyartist.com fosters to bring together the indian artist community and event related service providers, to a common online platform which will be useful to event managers, marketing managers, wedding planners and organisers.

This B2B initiative will connect the artists and service providers to the people who are most likely to hire them locally and nationally. The service is free to the artist for hosting his/her details on www.blockmyartist.com. We have set a start point of 1500 profiles to go live on 15th Aug 2009.We hope to keep adding 500 additional new artist every month. We hope to achieve a 10,000 plus profiled database of artists and support services.

We will be reviewing the CDs and details sent in by the artists and benchmarking them for commercial usability.
